Let me start by saying—the fit of this shirt is incredible. It hugs the biceps and chest perfectly, and you honestly won’t find a fit like this anywhere else.
That said, there’s a major issue: the fabric. The website lists the shirt as 60% cotton and 40% polyester, but the tag says it’s actually 100% cotton. That’s a significant difference. My shirt shrank once after the first wash, which I expected, but after drying it again on low heat, it shrank even more—and now it barely fits. That was really disappointing.
The sleeves and chest still fit great, which is why I love the design. But if this shirt actually had the polyester blend as listed, I don't think it would've shrunk so much. 100% cotton just doesn't hold up well—it fades quickly, shrinks repeatedly, and honestly feels like a cheaper material. I have shirts that are 95% cotton and 5% spandex and they barely shrink or fade, even after multiple washes.
Adding polyester or a bit of stretch fabric would make this shirt way more durable without compromising the fit.

If it's not too much trouble, can you please email me a photo of the shirts neck/main label screen print information? I agree, this wouldn't make sense since the Ultra Soft Fitted Crew Neck tee being reviewed is absolutely 60/40 cotton poly. I want to verify what's printed on the main neck label because there could've been a misprint by the screen printer. This has never happened thus far, but it would help me reconcile what could've occurred. FWIW, 100% cotton is considered a premium choice depending on the cotton source. While poly and spandex assist in shape retention, some customers do not want synthetics whatsoever. Supima cotton or organic cottons are incredibly breathable, soft and durable depending again on sourcing and whether it's garment dyed, curbing shrinkage even more(which is why some shirts you have that are 95/5 with super high cotton content. I mention all of this due to my exposure to the industry so that you may reconsider or keep an open mind on 100% cotton. It's all about the source fabric, processes the fabric goes through, as well as proper care of the garment. That all being said, the Ultra Soft Fitted Crew Neck tee is my basic every day tee, hence the entry level price point. I have countless numbers of them that have held up for years and years, but I think for what you're after, you'll be really impressed by my upcoming Adonis Tee that I'm releasing this Summer. It's basically a top shelf crew neck tee in every way possible. It will be priced relative to being a much more involved tee for development, cost of production, fabric, weight and durability. However I still never recommend doing anything but gentle cold wash cycle and tumble dry on the lowest, lowest of heat settings. Super soft, cut just right. It's not loose and it's not tight! Looks great! It hugs everthing just right and boy does the lady love it!! Clean look with no huge logos etc... I have all of these colors and will purchase any new ones from here out. Very happy with these and all of my WJB wardrobe thus far!!
